John + Amberlee // Owego, NY // Engagement & Wedding Photographer

The DJ had just announced that this was the final dance of the evening.
Surrounded by friends from college, John looked around the room, realization dawning that this was his last chance. The whole day he had had a funny feeling: that gut instinct that this wedding was going to be special, not just for his friends who were getting married, but that something else was going to happen.

As he looked around the room, he saw guys grabbing their dates for that one last dance and that’s when he saw her. She was on the opposite side of the dance floor looking so beautiful and somehow without a date to share that last dance with.

As John gathered his courage to make his way across the dance floor, their eyes met and well, you could say that the rest is history.

John & Amberlee are sharing their own special day in June and their wedding is going to be a-plus-mazing! I am SO excited and looking forward to it!!

We got together last weekend for some engagement photos and I couldn’t believe it when John rolled up on his incredible bike!! Talk about fabulous!!

Amberlee truly knows how to work it – utterly gorgeous!!

I always suggest to my couples that when they come to their engagement photos, that they bring something that defines them. My definition of engagement photos is that they should be fun & really showcase who the couple is and John & Amberlee did a fantastic job choosing to bring their 49er jerseys.

Now hear me out, I’m a Pittsburgh Steeler fan – so when John told me he wanted a photo “Kaepernicking” I was a little lost. So, he had to explain that it’s Colin Kaepernick’s signature move after he makes a touchdown play. And well, we all agreed – Amberlee is John’s best touchdown!
