It might sound cliche to say, but I seriously am so excited that you've found your way over to my little corner of the internet! They say that most website visitors choose to stay or navigate away in less than 3 seconds - so I'm pumped that you've not only stayed for longer than 3 seconds, but that you want to know a little bit more about me!
Can we just be real for a minute: it seems totally strange to me to have this whole beautiful website, all focused on gorgeous brides & grooms celebrating their love for each other & then there is this page - which is all about me! I'll be honest, I did a load of laundry, cleaned the bench we keep our shoes in from top to bottom, and wrote a few bills out while avoiding creating this page, simply because I truly don't like talking about myself!
At the same time: this is a really important spot on my website because here is where you can begin to get to know just a bit of who I am, what makes me tick, and why I love what I love. If the things you read on this page turn you off, I simply am not meant to spend the biggest day of your life with you and that's completely fine! If you find that you do appreciate my quirks, my sarcasm, and my bubbly nature, well maybe we would be a good fit!
So, read on, if you dare *wink*
First & foremost, this is the most important part of my life.
Meet: my husband - this tall, roller-coaster junkie man who I met at my best friend's wedding. He asked for my phone number & I sent him to my Dad to get permission first. We survived a long distance relationship for both of our entire dating and engagement seasons. We got married in 2010 and the rest is history. This is the man who keeps encouraging me when I get discouraged, who refuses to put up with my whining, who pushes me to dream bigger, and who dishes out the ice cream so we can binge watch Netflix together. He is my best friend.
Meet: our dog - Abby Abbey. She came into our lives as a 6 month old puppy in January of 2011, like a hurricane and a tornado put together. Thankfully, she's calmed down quite a bit and is now our house-watcher, feet-warmer, mailman-alerter, loving, cuddly puppy. Our family wouldn't be complete without her.
Meet: Braelynn - our 2 year old blonde hair, blue eyed, keeps-us-on-our-toes toddler. She is literally the sunshine to our days. She makes even the most mundane tasks like walking up the stairs, doing laundry, and going to the store an adventure & it's so much fun! It's literally the most exciting to see life in a whole new fresh way through her eyes. We couldn't imagine life without her.
Meet: Daniel Tiger - he's in our family photo because he made Braelynn happy.
Curious what some of my past brides & grooms have said about working with me? One of my main goals is to have my KAP Couples love their images and love working with me!
