If there were ever a pair of brown eyes to get lost in – these would be them. Deep, expressive, quiet, thoughtful – this guy is going to be one crazy lady killer one day!! Mark my words: the girls will be lined up at Owen’s doorstep, just hoping for a date!

Let’s not rush things though! For now, this little dude just celebrated 1 whole year! It seems like just yesterday that I found out he had arrived & I was stopping over at his house to snap a few precious newborn photos!! And here we are, a whole year later! How does that happen, seriously?

Owen is one serious little dude. His Mama and Daddy, his brothers and sisters pulled out all the stops trying to get him to lighten up, but he held fast to his stoic stance. That’s okay – that’s just who he is! Thankfully, he did give me a few little grins, and when he did, they just melt your heart!!

Isn’t he just precious? Serious face and all!

I’m such a sucker for little toes!!

The progression:
Step 1. Curiosity – who is this lady with a big black box in front of her face?

Step 2. Bewilderment – does she really think I’m going to smile while she’s making all of those crazy noises?

Step 3. Success – well, I guess I could give her a little grin, she’s working so hard!

It might take an army, but he is a pretty happy little dude!
