2017 Favorites – Weddings

This week, I will be breaking my Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday posting routine to highlight my favorite images from 2017! I’ve broken my favorite images down into four categories: roller coasters, portraits, engagements, and weddings. 2017 was the most amazing year & I have the images to prove it!!

Ahhh, weddings.
A couple’s Day One.
One of the biggest & most monumental days of their life.
And no matter how much time is spent planning, preparing, scheduling, organizing, and delegating – a day when things still fall thru the cracks to make things perfectly imperfect.

I love that about weddings: that even though things may fall apart, they still somehow seem to fall together. And in most cases, the only people who realize that there is an “imperfection” is the bride & groom.

And I seriously have the very best brides & grooms! Because no matter what happened (and I have some pretty hilarious/terrifying stories from 2017), they could be found smiling and laughing and rolling with it. Not one of my couples allowed the little things to get them down. And in a wedding-world of horror-stories about bridezillas, I’m overwhelmingly thankful that that title will never fall on one of my brides! They are all so sweet and absolutely wonderful, and all sometimes in the face of terrible odds.

Wedding days are my favorites. And I photographed more of them in 2017 than ever before. That’s probably why there are a lot of images in this post (consider yourself warned, in a completely wonderful way of course)! I promise, I did my best to trim them down (I went thru all of these images 3 times making cuts!) – I just photographed too many amazing weddings this year for this post to be any smaller!
