Highlight of the Week

I delivered my final wedding gallery of the year this week! It was my most challenging edit to date, which is why it took me a few extra days, but I love how it turned out! Courtney & Eddie’s wedding was amazing – rain & all!

Yes, This Happened

• This past week was really busy – I finished up a wedding gallery, and also finished up 2 secret projects I’ve been working on for a while. I SO wish I could show them off, but they are very special gifts for very special people and so, no peeking until after they’ve been gifted!!
• I also created & mailed out Ellen’s bridal shower invitations this week! AGH – it’s getting real! I was with her when she bought her dress, I have my dress, but for some reason the whole bridal shower invitation thing is what really has made it goose-pimply real to me. My little sister is getting married & the wedding is coming up SO fast!!
• Braelynn & I went to lunch with my Grandma this week. We don’t visit hardly enough and with my wedding season coming to a close, I really want to make an effort to go over to visit my Grandparents more often. I love them & they are so special, I used to go over & visit with them all the time! So, I really want to get over & see them more!
• Can we talk about fruit flies for a minute? Where do they come from & how do you get rid of them?! I’ve searched my kitchen high & lo looking for their source but everything seems good, yet they keep appearing!! Hints, tips, tricks? Please share!!

Feeling Blessed

After today’s wedding, I have 1 more wedding to photograph with Ellen, then 1 wedding to attend as a guest, and then it’s Ellen’s wedding! Did I mention that it’s getting real? Today’s wedding is going to be beautiful, then in 2 weeks we’ll be traveling out of town for a fabulous wedding that I’m super excited about, 2 weeks after that is Derrick’s best friend from growing up’s wedding in Buffalo, 4 weeks later is Christmas, and 4 weeks later is Ellen’s wedding! This holiday season is going to fly by in a blazing fury – I’m so excited for all the next weeks hold in store!
