I am SO excited to announce that I will be hosting a day of mini sessions this fall! I’ve talked about doing mini sessions for a few years now, and well, 2020 seemed like the perfect year to kick off an annual mini session day!
I am still (and will always be) primarily a wedding photographer, but the trick to that is: after a couple gets married, they tend to start a family! Whether that’s by adding a puppy into the mix or they have a baby (or both!) – my wedding clients still need photos after their wedding day! Because of my approach to shooting weddings, I tend to become good friends with my clients, so when they contact me for family photos – I simply cannot way ‘no’.
Here’s the deal though: my 2020 fall calendar is absolutely packed. Normally, I do my best to squeeze in family sessions around the weddings I have booked, but this year I’m shooting EIGHT weddings between the first weekend of October & the first weekend of November (insert nervous laugh here). My schedule is already full to the brim & the thought of doing random family sessions throughout the month of October as well is a bit overwhelming.
So, I figured: there’s no time like the present to offer mini sessions! That way, I can see as many of you as I can, as efficiently as I can, without overflowing my already full calendar.
I’ve done mini sessions up where we used to live (in northern PA) for a few years now & they are always a smashing success & SO much fun! So, I thought: it’s time to bring the mini-session fun back home to south-western PA!
| THE DETAILS Mini-Session Day! location: TBD (I’m open to suggestions! I’d simply like to stay in the Irwin/Greensburg area) date: Sunday, October 25, 2020 cost: $150 These sessions will be about 30-minutes long, and in that time I will take a variety of images that include different poses: both candids & formals. I’ll bring those images home, edit them, and then deliver them to you via digital gallery. You will receive at least 30 digital images (but we all know I’m a chronic over-shooter!) along with the printing rights to those images. I will be scheduling these sessions on a first-come-first-serve basis.
When I announce my day of mini-sessions up in northern PA – I typically sell out of every single one of my spots within 24 hours. I’ve never hosted mini sessions back here though, so I have no idea what the interest will be!
Please note: I will not be scheduling family sessions outside of this mini session day. If you are interested in getting updated family photos from me this fall for your Christmas cards or to give as gifts – this is your one & only chance to do it!
