Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN | The Adventuring Abbeys Vlog

We kicked off our “big” vacation of the summer (it seems like ages ago at this point!) with a day at Dollywood Park in Pigeon Forge, TN.

We LOVE Dollywood – it’s such a beautiful park with the most lovely atmosphere. The staff is incredible, the setting impeccable, the rides are well themed and so much fun.

New for 2023, Dollywood had just opened Big Bear Mountain a few weeks before our visit. It’s a Vekoma, launching, family roller coaster – so that was obviously our number one prerogative of the day. We ran straight there and got on after a 45 minute wait (the wait shot up to 90 minutes for most of the rest of the day). We LOVED this new ride – it is fantastic and so much fun!

Overall, we had an amazing day at Dollywood – the perfect way to kick off our vacation!

(If you’d like to go back in time, the last time we were at Dollywood was in 2020 – those were pre-vlogging days – so I just have a vlog of photos! You won’t believe how much my children have grown!)
