Summer 2016 Bucket List

Happy April 1st! Summer is right around the corner & I couldn’t be more excited! I have so many plans and ideas for this summer – and since lists are my current addiction (anyone else? I feel like I am completely unproductive if I don’t make a list & cross things off anymore!) I decided to write down my top 20 goals for this summer! My plan is: write all of this down & then revisit this list at the end of summer to see what I accomplished! Fun, right? So, in absolutely no particular order, here we go!

1. Take Braelynn to the zoo
2. Take Braelynn to Phipps Conservatory
3. Spend a week at Deep Creek Lake
4. Write Derrick & I’s love story
5. Go to Cedar Point with Derrick
6. Go to Kings Island with Derrick
7. Have a (legit) picnic
8. Take Braelynn to Round Hill Park
9. Spend some time taking photos for enjoyment (not as part of a job)
10. Attend an Irwin Art & Jazz night
11. Find a nice outdoor table & eat outside as often as possible
12. Go swimming with Braelynn at the lake
13. Vacation for a week with my family in Tennessee
14. Help Derrick get his XScreamThrills website & podcast up and running
15. Print the 1,221 photos from Braelynn’s first year of life (seriously, I’ve already picked them out, they just need printed!)
16. Scrapbook those 1,221 photos (!!)
17. Read at least 5 new books this summer (would never have been a goal in the past, but with a little person, it’s totally making it on the bucket list)
18. Finish decorating the upstairs (hanging mirrors and pictures in the bedrooms)
19. Replace the windows in our house
20. Sew curtains for the front window
