2014 Favorites – Weddings

Ahh, weddings.
The shortest day of your life – literally.
And my favorite thing is to be a part of them.

I know I’ve mentioned before, but by the time a couple’s wedding day arrives, I am SO beyond excited for them that I can barely contain myself. Because, by the time a couple’s wedding day arrives, we’ve moved past the “I’m just another wedding vendor” spot and generally moved into the “I’m a friend, here to help, laugh, and cry, OH and take pretty pictures” spot. And I can say that for a fact because I do cry at every single wedding [the helping & laughing goes without saying].

I love that in the process of planning and being a part of a couple’s wedding day, we become friends – friends who still chat after the wedding day has ended & the photos are delivered. I love that my couple’s send me Christmas cards & thank you cards & little notes on Facebook to catch me up on their lives [and a new one is: contact me for maternity & newborn photos! EEE!! That is the BEST]! Seriously, I have the most awesome job ever!

So, my last category of favorite photos is wedding images from the year 2014 – in absolutely no particular order! And it’s a little on the long side – I literally couldn’t chop any more of these photos out though! Forgive me for having such fabulous couples!
