Our first trip of the year is always SO EXCITING!
Winters are LONG around here with no roller coasters open and the cold breathing down our necks – it is always so exhilarating for spring to finally creep in and roller coaster season to finally begin again!
For our first trip of 2025, we traveled down to Kings Dominion to ride their brand new launching wing roller coaster: Rapterra. It’s a super fun ride (but sadly, does have a bit of a rattle that was a bit disappointing)
Regardless: Rapterra officially claims the title as our very first roller coaster for 2025!
We always love visiting Kings Dominion – it’s a beautiful park and no matter what time of year it is, it always seems to be hot there. (For context, we visited at the beginning of April and temps were in the 40’s and 50’s at home – but at Kings Dominion, it was in the mid-80’s!)
We spent the day enjoying the park and then left to drive up the East Coast in order to visit Six Flags Great Adventure and ride their brand new roller coaster Flash: Vertical Velocity (vlog coming soon!)
