Highlight of the Week
Derrick’s brother & his family are here visiting us this weekend! They came in Thursday night & so far we’ve had a lovely time! Yesterday, we went to Round Hill Farm & saw the animals & played at the splash pad – today is yet to be determined, but our evening will be full of Paul’s homemade pizza (his specialty!) I’ll post a full weekend wrap-up on Monday – so stay tuned!
Yes, This Happened
- BEE UPDATE: We have a bug exterminator coming today for the third time – these pesky bees simply will not leave my house alone!
- We woke up this morning to the smell of skunk – uh what?! It’s faint, but definitely there! Either a skunk went to town spraying something close to us last night or one got hit out on the road – either way, it’s not the most pleasant!
Feeling Blessed
This week & next are so crazy busy for us! My calendar has been literally packed out every day with oil changes, hair cuts, appointments, photoshoots, and the JBF sale is coming up next week that I’m trying to prep for as well! The good news is: there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Next weekend we leave for a week long vacation & I couldn’t be looking forward to it more! It is going to be delightful and just what the doctor ordered – I cannot wait.
