Highlight of the Week
WHEW! Remember how I was mentioning 2 secret projects a few weeks ago? I can finally talk about one of them!! We threw a grand surprise party for Derrick’s Mom last Saturday & it was epic. She literally had no clue a party was in the works – so we surprised her really really good. Her actual birthday is tomorrow, so I’m sure her celebrations continue!
Yes, This Happened
- This past Sunday I met with two amazing couples – both of which I’ve had the pleasure of working with before! I met with Jess & Adam (Jess is Megan’s sister) they’re getting married in 2018 and then I met with Mallory & Joey (Mallory is Mike’s sister) and they’re getting married in 2017! It was SO much fun to reconnect with them & look forward to their own weddings!
- Tuesday was my favorite day of the month – Tuesday Together day! This month was a morning meeting & it was so fun to meet a whole slew of new creatives! Tiffany (our fearless leader) killed it, as always, and it was another fabulous time of learning, encouragement, and new friendships!
Feeling Blessed
The days are just packed – that’s the title of a Calvin & Hobbes comic book, isn’t it? Seriously though, the days seem to be more and more busy, and go faster and faster. For real, where does the time go? I think it’s because we have so many major events on the horizon that makes the days leading up to them go by even faster. It’s exciting, but at the same time terrifying. Make it slow down! Braelynn gets bigger and more mature (and more mischievous) every single day, and I just want time to pause so we can enjoy a little more. I guess it’s up to me to put on the brakes & thoughtfully enter into each day – I guess that’s my challenge. Life is good.
