They say good things come to those who wait.

And boy, did we wait for this little one!! We waited the usual 9 months, and then her due date arrived, and we waited some more, and then a week went by, and we waited some more, and then TWO weeks went by, and we were still waiting!! FINALLY 16 days after her due-date my brand new baby niece was born!! We were worried that she would be a little beast she had cooked so long, but she was just 2 ounces bigger than her big brother when he was born & just 1 inch longer! She is a doll & I already have a bucket-load of fun things that we can do together!!

Big brother PJ isn’t quite sure what to make of his new sister – he did give her a few kisses and tried to say her name, but other than that he was more interested in showing off his awesome potty-trained skills!

She has HAIR!! TONS and TONS of jet black baby hair!!

And she was wide awake and totally curious the whole time we were there – her eyes are beautiful.

Mommy is doing super awesome – she is such a trooper!! Not only did she go an extra 16 days baking this little bun, but she went through about 18 hours of labor before they made the decision to do a C-Section for the safety of the babe – they knew the cord was wrapped around her somehow but weren’t sure how, and every time there was a contraction lil Miss Cam’s heart-rate would drop! Super scary! But both are doing well and we are all thrilled to pieces that she is here!!
