Featured! Borrowed & Blue // Courtney & Eddie

I am so excited to be featured on Borrowed & Blue today!

Courtney & Eddie’s wedding was super memorable for so many reasons:
It threatened to rain all afternoon, but I honestly believe Courtney & Eddie’s steely resolve to push forward & have their ceremony outside, no matter what, is what kept the raindrops at bay!
It might have stayed dry for the ceremony, but as we were flying thru bridal party portraits, it began to pour – like cats-and-dogs. Thankfully, we had my trusty extra large golf umbrellas handy, but Derrick & I still got soaked.
I can still hear Courtney’s infectious laugh, see the tenderness in Eddie’s eyes, and feel the gigantic love they poured into every single one of their guests. They are truly remarkable people & I am so blessed to have met them!

Personally, I met my favorite vendor friend at Courtney & Eddie’s wedding! Ashley Morrell – who was the videographer for the day – has become the sweetest, most encouraging, like-minded friend over the course of the last year! We instantly clicked on the wedding day & have been besties ever since! I just wish we lived closer to each other!
This was also one of the first few weddings Derrick worked with me on! Last summer, he jumped in & worked as my second-shooter for several weddings & he rocked it! Obviously, because all of the weddings Derrick photographed with me, have now been published!
