March – the month of snow one day & shorts the next.
Seriously though, I know every March & April bring crazy weather to this corner of south-western Pennsylvania, but I seriously have whip-lash from the drastic changes we endured this month!
So, if you think my videos might be “non-chronological” because after all, how could the kids be outside, running around without coats one day, and then playing in the snow the next day? Welcome to Pennsylvania!
We had a ton of fun this month though!
And how could we not? Spring has arrived (even if we had some weird snowy days here & there), and suddenly summer seems closer than ever! We are excited for roller coasters, trips to the lake house, Easter, and our family vacation – all coming up in the month of April!!

We also visited the Pittsburgh Zoo with my sister & nieces early in the month (see that vlog here: https://youtu.be/jQHEmmY_QBU)
Life moves too fast & the best way I know to preserve it is to snatch these fleeting moments before they fly away & bottle them up so they are never lost.

Just in case you’ve missed what I’m doing – I decided that I wanted to create a curated “home video” for our family every month (remember those old “home movies” our families used to create? with the giant video recorders that an entire VHS tape fit in?) Those videos were fantastic, but if you’ve ever sat down to watch one (does anyone even own a VHS player anymore?) you very quickly realize that you do a lot of “fast-forwarding”.
So, my goal, is to take all the little videos I take of our family over the course of a month & create a short (my goal is to be around 10 minutes) video of my favorite snippets. I am SO excited to finally have a dedicated place to chronicle my family videos & keep them safe & accessible.
