Meet Michaela! This fabulous young lady is a senior this year at Waverly High School!

I met Michaela almost 2 years ago, on New Year’s Eve! I was photographing her Dad’s wedding, Shane marrying Kelli, and it was such a fun evening! I had such a great time with her family – so when I got a note from Michaela that she is a senior this year & thought of me for photos – I was all over that!!

I had such a fun time hanging out and reconnecting with Michaela and her Dad. I think we picked the absolute hottest day of the year for photos though! We were all sweaty messes by the time we were finished, but we had a blast hiking all over the Wavery Glen, in Waverly, New York [coincidentally, the same park where I got together with her Dad & Kelli for their engagement photos!] Michaela is such a beautiful, smart, and sweet girl – she plans to go on to college and is thinking about a career in counseling. I have the feeling that whatever she sets her mind to do – she’ll be amazing at!

Michaela is into photography as well – so we had a lot of fun chatting about lenses and posing and light!
