Meet handsome little Jack (and his equally handsome Mommy & Daddy)! I have been dying to meet this little guy ever since I heard the exciting news that he was coming & I was so excited a few weeks ago to officially get to meet him! His Daddy introduced me to him: “Meet Kara! She is the happiest person you will ever meet!” – what a huge compliment!

There are no words to describe what John & Amberlee mean to me. I count them as my first “real” wedding clients (meaning: they were the first bride & groom I photographed that I didn’t previously know. I had photographed weddings before theirs, but for friends & acquaintances – they were my first “strangers”) They trusted me & loved me & welcomed me into their big day & I will forever be grateful to them!! Not only that, but they have referred so many people my way – my business legitimately would not be where it is today without their encouragement & support!

I have loved watching their journey from the “sidelines” – from remodeling their old house (we did some really funny Christmas pictures the year they got married there!), to selling it and buying their new to-die-for house, to announcing that they were pregnant, to seeing Mr. Jack’s tiny little newborn face! Speaking of Mr. Jack, he’s already giving his parents a run for their money – arriving 4 weeks early – the little stinker! Good thing he’s so darn adorable, he just simply couldn’t wait to get out & meet his amazing parents – that must be it!

John & Amberlee used to live across the street from Charlie & Kayla, but not any more! I loved getting a tour of their new incredible HUGE house – and so it only seemed fitting to take some family photos & photos of Jack around their new place!
I am so blessed to meet the people I do & to consider them my friends – it’s just one of the many many reasons why I have the best job in the world!

John is big into weight-lifting and has a whole gym area in their finished basement – so it only seemed right to take some fun photos down there!

This is probably one of my favorite photos ever – I love how happy and cuddly they all look together & love how Jack is looking up at his parents!!

Then it was out to explore the backyard for some more family photos! Can you believe that Amberlee had a baby just 6 weeks ago?! Girl! You look amazing!!
