“Kara photographed my wedding in June 2020. She did a phenomenal job and we are so happy that she was able to photograph our wedding.
Needless to say, the Pandemic brought up some concerns in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding. Kara was always ahead of the game and sent out reassuring emails regarding the ever changing circumstances. She put our minds at ease and also offered helpful suggestions for brides who were postponing or going through with a smaller wedding during this unprecedented time.
Kara met with my husband and I at a Starbucks and she shared her portfolio with us and certainly took in-depth notes. Shortly after the wedding, she published a blog post that included our love story and some highlight photos from our wedding day. It was a wonderful touch!
The day of our wedding she was so prompt, that I was worried that I was behind schedule because I hadn’t even started to apply my makeup yet. I’m so glad that she was able to take the time to photograph my dress, bouquet, jewelry, and invitation as those photos are beautiful! Kara also provides you with a wedding day schedule, which is very helpful. After the ceremony, we took photos at Braddock’s Trail and I’m so thankful that Kara was willing to trek through the woods to capture these shots. The reception photos are spectacular as well and they truly show how my husband, myself, and our guests felt on that special day. All of the photos she took turned out even better than what I could have imagined. We will cherish these photos and the blog post for a lifetime to come. I have already decided on making a gallery wall in our apartment to dedicate to wedding photos, because it’s too difficult to narrow it down to just a couple of wedding photos to frame.
I should also add that Kara’s turnaround time was unheard of. She had a few photos up on Facebook the night of our wedding, which I was so eager to check out after leaving the reception! Then just a few days later she had our blog post written, and we were on our honeymoon when we received the email with all of our photos! Amazing!
