The Zenewicz’s // Waverly, NY // Family Photographer

I have my share of little quirks & oddities, but some of them play to my advantage: like my love for big families.
It’s probably thanks to growing up in my own big family [I’m the oldest of 6 kids] that makes me appreciate & love big families so much! And now with my own little family – I appreciate Moms of big families so much more! Life is challenging and add a little person clinging to your leg 95% of their waking hours and it gets a little chaotic. So, take that & multiply it by 6 and you get the material of “super-mom” that both my Mom & Samantha are made out of!

I have photographed this family for a long time – since the twins were just little babies! And it has been so much fun to come back year after year & photograph Samantha & Jeremy and their little pack of people! I have to admit – some years it was really super challenging to get just one family picture with everyone in it & not crying! This year though, I felt like the tide had turned: as finally there were more “older” ones than “younger” ones and trying to get together for some group family shots was much less chaotic this year!

I’ll be super honest: these little humans are so so good. Sure, they have their spurts of wild & crazy, but who wouldn’t with fancy new clothes, hair all done pretty, and a beautiful park to explore? Overall, they are a blast to hang out with & they had me laughing the whole time. I simply adore them!

So, along with family portraits, we always update everyone’s individual portraits as well! I love that you can see each of their little personalities shining thru in how unique each of them sat & acted for me!

So, there are several families that I have photographed for a long long long time and I’m working on a special little project that highlights them & how far they’ve come [and how far I’m grown as a photographer!] Stay tuned!!
